Angelus and I were not able to do an educational play date with Lydia and the Trinity's this month, but we did get together with my sister (Angelus' Godmother) and my Aunt Nancy at the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum.
That is so cool. Anything that is hands-on is so great for children AND adults. One of my son and I have the most fun with is actually doing experiments or putting things together. While we are living here, I'm hoping to bring him to the Korean folk village.
When we return to the States, if we're ever passing by Ann Arbor, we'll have to stop and check out the museum.
My parents took my sister and I to a hands-on museum when I was younger. These places are something else! They are a ton of fun, and you learn stuff. A great educational playdate. =)
What great pics! He looks like he is having a wonderful time! My 4 year old daughter is the type who retains information better when she can interact with it, so she would LOVE a place like that!
Hi! I'm Erin and I help coordinate the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum blog. I saw your post about your trip on my blog alerts. What great photos! You got such a good shot of the caterpillar/moth exhibit. And the one at the water table is really cute.

ReplyDeleteIt looks like he was having a great time. My boys are pretty much grown now and I remember many happy times with them at museums like that.
ReplyDeleteOh, how fun! I think I like the hands-on museums & exhibits as much as the kiddos do!
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun was had by all! I love the hands on museums. Love to touch and feel and smell.
