In honor of my 100th follower I'm having another blog giveaway! And since I publish a new post daily, I'll have over 300 blog entries by the end of this giveaway, not bad for 9 months! This is an awesome outlet for thoughts, ideas and personal mementos. Thanks to everyone to who reads this blog and shares comments. I've meet a lot of really cool folks, thanks for enriching my life!
Queen of Cups Giveaway
The spirit of The Queen of Cups is a tenderhearted, spiritual and kind homemaker, like so many of you followers. The Queen of this giveaway will win a selection of my personal harvest:
A sachet of dried chamomile for magical endeavors evolving money, love and purification.
A sachet of dried lemon balm which comforts the heart and driveth away melancholy and sadness.
Coal, associated with the North and Earth, and it can be used with any corresponding witchery in that arena. It rules in Winter, Samhain and Yule; at night and in the third quarter to Dark Moon phases. It represents wisdom, the Sage and Crone.
A homemade lavender smudge stick to smoke negative forces away and attract positive forces, most especially love.

ReplyDeleteok, I have to say what a cool idea your giveaways are. I think we should all make this a practice, and spread that wonderfull feeling as much as possible. I was so intrigued when I first saw what was included in your giveaway package this time. I have been blogging to others about my daughter - who is 17, and has just had her heart broken by her first love. If you remember love at 17, you know what I mean. Anyway, my first instinct to try and help her was lavender. so I cut some and hung a sprig over her bed. I blogged for advice and Rue (and hyssop) said the lavender was the way to go, and put plenty more around the house. So, my lavender plants are bare and picked clean, but my house smelled great :)
ReplyDeleteAnyway, when I saw the ingredients in you package, I knew exactly what I needed to help my daughter along. Even if I don't win the giveaway, I will try to follow your ingredients. Thank you. At first I thought, yes, this package was made with my girl in mind! But then when I saw already 24 entrants, and that I don't meet the terms for the multiple entrants, I saw my chances go down. But thats ok - the giveaway still *gave to me* :) I can use your example to assemble a "care" package for my daughter. I never thought of using laveneder as a smudge stick, and I wish I had seen this before I cut mine back so bare. But I will keep it in mind. I appreciate the helpful information, LOVE your blog, and have come to "depend" on it :)

ReplyDeleteAnd I have to say that as I was always drawn towards this magical side of life, I was never too brave enough to venture into it...or just that I was afraid of being lost or ridiculed. Your writings and Your friends' writings give me the courage and the inspiration, though.
