You may be wondering why in the world I'm suddenly ravelry obsessed. A fanciful twist of fate is the answer! One of my favorite bloggers,
Vanessa at A Fanciful Twist has been posting photos of these wondrous and whimsical blankets. They are just beautiful,
check these out and check out her
blog, I'm crazy about her.
So I'm falling in love with these works of yarn art, I'm even dreaming about them all soft and playful. Now comes the fate part. At my last
freecycle, my knitter friend Hex was off loading these...
Perfectly wondrous and whimsy!
So it begins, my Fanciful Twist Blanket, so named for my muse.

Twilight feels fanciful too!

I'm with you, nothing brings more delight to me then fiber. In fact it is cold and rainy out so tonight when I get home, I will pull out my spinning wheel and let the soft fiber of wool pass through my fingers and create a little of my own knitting yarn. Joy, pure Joy. Sea Witch
ReplyDeleteCrochet is one of my many "creative" outlets. I'm also learning to spin. Be careful, yarn has a way of "appearing" all over your house. :-D
ReplyDeleteI'm am also utterly obsessed with ravelry. I look forward to seeing the finished product! The yarn is really cute but not nearly as adorable as your cat. :D
ReplyDeleteThose yarns look delightful!
ReplyDeleteI sent you an award if you are interested in playing:
