We had a relatively warm weekend in the 40's go by, the crew and I didn't miss an opportunity to go to the park. By Monday morning another snow storm had covered us and the temperatures dropped again.

When I was young, I was fascinated to find out that the land mass across the water at our park as an entirely different country, Canada!

I read the book "Middlesex" this past fall, and the descriptions of Detroit were so rich that I felt I'd been there after reading it. I love the pics you post, and I find it funny that I connect them as much to the book as I do to you!

Bishop's Park is a park in Fulham, south-west London. The park was opened by the London County Council in 1893, on land given by the Ecclesiastical Commissioners. It is listed Grade II on the register of parks and gardens of special historic interest maintained by English Heritage.
