**ALL of the following links take you to PM entries within this blog, except for the blog party link. Don't miss out, click the links!**

Welcome to the Practical Magic Blog Party! So naturally me and my girlfriends, the Ya-Ya's, aren't the only ones obsessed and inspired by the movie Practical Magic. Hundreds of witchy women are participating in this event today, fly on over to the Practical Magic Party Blog for a complete list of participants.

But before you go, perhaps you would like to stroll through my Practical Magic inspired herb garden? Sniff the lavender and rub the rosemary. Would you like to share the magic? Send your own Ya-Ya's the gift of luck.

Now let's sit down a moment a discuss the most wonderful character in this movie, the house of course! What's your favorite room? I know, it's to hard to choose! Every turn is enchanted and magical. I started incorporating elements of the house into my home, like creating a conservatory. The Aunts would approve, don't you think? After all, they are living extensions of the house. Sometimes it's hard to tell where the house ends and the Aunts begin!

Oh my look at the time! I've kept you so long and there are so many other parties to attend! Well, I can't send you off this late. Let's puts on the Practical Magic soundtrack and conjure up a batch of Midnight Margaritas. You can start again in the morning, after having chocolate cake for breakfast. I hope you brought some aspirin!

  22. I could easily see myself fly off to the east coast next summer when we semi-retire and find a nice old place overlooking the sea.
There I could be myself, an old sea witch gathering shells by the shore in the break of day. In mid-afternoon I'd have some lemon verbena tea with a scrumptious strawberry scone and look through my collections of old books conjuring the next yummy treat for the family and planning my many, many crafts. When evening would finally roll in from the sea I would most certainly find my favourite chair set in the corner of the conservatory where the full moon casting its glow would drop in for its friendly visit and chat with me about our day. Surrounded by the water glass window panes of the room all of my collections of crystals , potion bottles , old mirrors and lights would dance with the flickering candle lights that I lit all over the room. And then a beautiful intoxicating mixed fragrance of Moonflower, rose, jasmine, lemon verbena and four o'clock would waft through the air and perk the sleeping canaries and doves from their rests and urge them to sing a little sonatina breaking the silence of the night. And in this moment I would feel a resurgence of energy when the moisture of the living plants touches my skin expelling their breath into the night air……the genesis of magic would once again start a new circle. Ahhh the magic of dreaming , the magic of a great movie to enable us to dream, if not to dream what then….possess the real thing!

    There , I think that's it....Oh I forgot the owl,definitely an owl. Now everyone knows the dreamer I am......hehe!
