Peanut Butter Buddy Bars

Buddy Bars
3/4 stick butter
1 cup peanut butter
1 1/4 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups milk chocolate chips





Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In large bowl beat peanut butter and butter until smooth.

Add sugar, eggs and vanilla extract; beat until creamy.



Stir in 1 cup chocolate chips.

Spread into ungreased 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until edges begin to brown. Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips over cookie layer. Let stand 5 minutes until chips are shiny and soft. Spread chips evenly over top. Cool and cut into 1 1/2 inch bars.

  2. Why!? Why do you do this to us in the beginning of January!? My tummy wants it but my brain is telling me that I'm still recovering from Yule, Christmas and New Years. Noooo!!!

    Then again... Valentine's Day is coming up soon. :)

  5. ~will have to try...a family here who eats lots of peabut butter! one older one made simple cookies the other day all on his own...so i may have to leave him with a bit more challenging recipe...thanks for sharing...much love light and blessings~
